NewsVolunteer for the 2010 State Golf Championship2010-08-26The 2010 State Golf Championship will be held September 10 & 11 at Rose Park and Jordan River Golf Courses in Salt Lake City. Athletes will be competing in Individual Skills, Developmental 9Hole Individual and Partners Play, 9hole Individual and Partners Play or 18hole Individual and Partners Play. Volunteers at this event will escort a small group of athletes around the golf course and keep score. Following the round of golf they will also assist in the awards presentation. Volunteer checkin will begin at 8:45 on Friday, September 11 with competition running from 9:30 to 4:00 and at 9:15 on Saturday, September 12 with competition running from 10:00 to 5:00. General Volunteer Information Request2010-03-23Please complete the General Volunteer Information Request if you would like your name added to email lists to receive information about specific upcoming events. Special Olympics Utah has 6 State level competitions each year and approximately 55 area events each year. Volunteers are needed to make each of these competitions a success for our 2,200+ athletes and coaches.
